Oppo launches new mid-range smartphone in India

New Delhi: Smartphone maker Oppo Tuesday launched in India Oppo A57 a new mid-range smartphone that is a part of its popular A series of phones.

 

The device is priced at Rs. 13,999 and comes with a 6.56-inch LCD panel on the front with HD+ resolution, 269 PPI, and 600 nits of peak brightness and a standard refresh rate of 60Hz.  The display has Panda MN228 Glass protection.

 

Oppo A57 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset paired with 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM.

 

The device runs on Android 11 OS based ColorOS 12 custom skin out of the box and is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 33W fast charging as well. 


The smartphone is equipped with a dual-camera setup in the rear which comprises a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel mono lens. On the front, it comes with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. 

 

Oppo A57 also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type C charging port, 3.5mm headphone jack, IPX4 and IP5X water and dust resistance rating. 

 

It is available in two colour options - Glowing Green and Glowing Black and can be purchased from the company’s official online store.
