Seoul — Samsung Friday announced that the Galaxy S23 smartphones are now available worldwide after a successful pre-order period. The pre-order results for the new models were even better than last year's Galaxy S22 series, which had already seen twice the number of pre-orders in the first week compared to the Galaxy S21. In particular, the Galaxy S23 Ultra was the top choice for 60% of consumers.

The Galaxy S23 series, which includes the Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23, marks a new era for Samsung's ultimate premium phone experience. The Galaxy S23 Ultra, with its new 200MP Adaptive Pixel sensor and embedded S Pen, leads the way. The series offers impressive cameras and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform ensures the world's fastest mobile graphics for Galaxy. Additionally, the series boasts a stunning design that supports Samsung's sustainability efforts, with more recycled materials used in its components than in any other Galaxy smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 series offers advanced mobile security through Samsung Message Guard. This powerful sandboxing tool proactively defends against zero-click exploit attacks, a new type of cyberattack where simply receiving an image can infect a device, without any user interaction required. Samsung Message Guard works as a virtual quarantine, capturing harmful images and allowing safe ones to pass through.

Starting on Friday, the Galaxy S23 series smartphones will be available worldwide through carriers and retailers, as well as on Samsung's official website. The devices come in four matte hues inspired by nature, namely Phantom Black, Cream, Green, and Lavender. Additionally, unique online-exclusive colors are available only on Samsung's website, with the Galaxy S23 Ultra in Graphite, Lime, Sky Blue, and Red. The Galaxy S23 and S23+ also have two online-exclusive colors, Graphite and Lime.
