Samsung's Galaxy S23 smartphones now available worldwide

Seoul — Samsung Friday announced that the Galaxy S23 smartphones are now available worldwide after a successful pre-order period. The pre-order results for the new models were even better than last year's Galaxy S22 series, which had already seen twice the number of pre-orders in the first week compared to the Galaxy S21. In particular, the Galaxy S23 Ultra was the top choice for 60% of consumers.

Oppo launches new mid-range smartphone in India

New Delhi: Smartphone maker Oppo Tuesday launched in India Oppo A57 a new mid-range smartphone that is a part of its popular A series of phones.

 

The device is priced at Rs. 13,999 and comes with a 6.56-inch LCD panel on the front with HD+ resolution, 269 PPI, and 600 nits of peak brightness and a standard refresh rate of 60Hz.  The display has Panda MN228 Glass protection.

 

Oppo A57 is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset paired with 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM.

 

Lava to launch sub-INR 10k smartphone with glass back panel in India

After launching its first 5G smartphone Agni last year, Lava is reportedly set to launch a new entry-level smartphone with a glass back panel. 

 According to a report published in 91Mobiles, Lava is planning to launch the smartphone in India this month itself. 

The smartphone will be priced within the INR 10,000 mark and as mentioned earlier the phone will sport a glass panel in the rear, a feature typically found on premium mid-range or flagship phones.
