Media accreditation open; applications close February 8, 2026
The India AI Impact Summit 2026, scheduled to be held from February 16–20 in New Delhi, is poised to become the largest of the four global AI summits hosted to date, reflecting growing international momentum around responsible, inclusive and impact-driven Artificial Intelligence.
The Summit has already received over 35,000 registrations ahead of the event, underscoring unprecedented global interest. Designed to move beyond dialogue and into action, the Summit will focus on translating AI vision into execution, with measurable outcomes that create real-world impact.
The event will convene governments, industry leaders, researchers, civil society organisations and international institutions to collaboratively shape the future of AI policy, governance and innovation.
Participation is expected from more than 100 countries, including 15–20 Heads of Government, over 50 ministers, and 40+ CEOs of leading global and Indian enterprises. Approximately 500 prominent figures from the global AI ecosystem — including innovators, researchers and Chief Technology Officers — will also attend.
A key highlight of the Summit will be a showcase featuring 500+ AI startups. In addition, around 500 sessions will be held alongside the main programme, making it one of the most comprehensive AI-focused global gatherings to date.
Engagement in the lead-up to the Summit has been equally significant. More than 1,300 proposals were received for pre-Summit activities, with over 500 events already conducted across sectors and geographies in India and globally. The Summit framework also includes seven flagship events that have collectively engaged over 300,000 participants, demonstrating widespread national and international interest.
The India AI Impact Summit builds on the evolving global AI summit process — from early discussions on AI risks at Bletchley Park, to ethics and inclusion in Seoul, and operationalisation of shared principles in Paris — and reflects India’s growing leadership in shaping the global AI agenda.
Further details, including programme themes, participation modalities and registration, are available on the official Summit website.
