Nippon Paint Leadership Meets Union Minister Piyush Goyal in Japan, Reaffirms Commitment to India’s Growth Story
- Meeting held on the sidelines of the Union Commerce and Industry Minister’s four-day visit to Japan, as part of India’s largest-ever business delegation to the country
Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Mr. Piyush Goyal met with senior leadership of Nippon Paint Holdings Co., Ltd., along with Nippon Paint India Managing Director, Mr. Sharad Malhotra, during the Minister’s four-day visit to Japan. The meeting focused on discussing opportunities to strengthen India-Japan cooperation in the paints and coatings industry as well as India’s expanding manufacturing and infrastructure landscape. The interaction was part of a broader series of engagements during Mr. Goyal’s visit, aimed at deepening trade and investment ties between India and Japan under the two countries’ Special Strategic and Global Partnership.
The Nippon Paint leadership delegation, led by Mr. Yuichiro Wakatsuki, Director, Representative Executive Officer & Co-President of Nippon Paint Holdings Co. Ltd., and Mr. Sharad Malhotra, Managing Director, Nippon Paint (India) Group, outlined its continued investment and growth commitment to the Indian market.
