Contentstack Launches Techsurf 2025 – India’s Premier Career-Launching Hackathon Hosted on EdQuest

Contentstack, the pioneer of Composable Digital Experience Platforms (DXP) built for enterprises, announces the launch of Techsurf 2025—the fifth edition of its flagship national hackathon. This year’s edition is hosted on EdQuest, India’s fastest-growing AI-native talent discovery and skill-building platform for students, built to personalize growth through curated learning journeys. More than just a coding contest, Techsurf 2025 is a high-impact launchpad where India’s next-gen developers go from learners to legends.

Techsurf 2025 begins with “Contentstack 101,” a hands-on developer course that gives students practical exposure to working with a real digital experience platform. Participants then move on to solve industry-inspired challenges that mirror real-world engineering problems. The goal is not just to test coding skills but to build relevant experience in environments that reflect modern-day software development.

“Techsurf represents everything we stand for at Contentstack: Innovation, opportunity, and community,” said Vasu Kothamasu, SVP and Head of Engineering at Contentstack. “Over the years, it has uncovered raw talent from unexpected corners, self-taught developers, student builders, problem solvers ready for the big stage. With EdQuest as our platform partner, Techsurf 2025 will be our most ambitious edition yet.”

Participants in Techsurf 2025 will compete nationally, crafting creative solutions, building functional prototypes, and presenting their ideas through compelling video pitches. This format doesn’t just reward technical ability, it also nurtures storytelling, communication, and product thinking. Participants also stand to win cash prizes of up to INR 4 lakhs and earn pre-placement interviews for full-time roles at Contentstack, with compensation packages reaching up to INR 11 LPA.

“Techsurf is our way of discovering and nurturing top engineering talent before they become world-class engineers,” said Suvish Thoovamalayil, Dean of Techsurf 2025 and Associate Director of Engineering at Contentstack. “We focus on real-world problems, open-ended thinking, and ideas that don’t always come from textbooks. It’s about building the mindset that thrives beyond the classroom, in teams, in startups, and in the ambiguity of real-world challenges.”

“EdQuest isn’t just a platform, it’s a movement redefining how talent is evaluated and elevated,” said Kshitija Katare, Engineering and Product Director at EdQuest. “Hosting Techsurf on EdQuest brings together two powerful forces: one nurturing student potential, and the other connecting that potential to real opportunity. We’re excited to see careers take flight here.”

Participants will benefit from expert support throughout the event via live Discord Q&A sessions with Contentstack engineers. Techsurf 2025 is designed for individual participation, ensuring each student’s contribution is uniquely recognised. The event is open to students graduating in 2026 and 2027 from B.Tech/B.E., BSc IT, BCA, and MCA programs. No prior experience with Contentstack is required, just a passion for building and problem-solving.
