Mahindra University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Art of Living (TAOL), marking the commencement of a structured life-skills, wellbeing, and leadership development initiative on campus. The partnership with The Art of Living is designed to empower students with practical tools to navigate the pressures of academics, careers, and personal life, while also equipping faculty and staff with programmes to enhance resilience, productivity, and overall mental wellbeing.
Through this collaboration, TAOL will roll out its Youth Empowerment and Skills Programme (YES!+), a 2-credit, 28-hour workshop that blends mind–body practices, interactive discussions, and experiential learning. The course is designed to help students strengthen their focus, improve memory, build interpersonal skills, manage stress, and perform under pressure—skills that directly align with the New Education Policy (NEP 2020)’s emphasis on holistic, multidisciplinary, and value-based learning.
For faculty and staff, TAOL will conduct a customised Faculty Development Programme (FDP) focusing on mind-management, leadership, and life skills. The workshop aims to help educators become more resilient, reduce burnout, build harmonious relationships, and enhance their ability to guide students effectively.
Through this MoU, Mahindra University reinforces its commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals, supporting intellectual, emotional, physical, and social development, while creating a healthier campus ecosystem for both students and educators.
