Mahindra University Wins Smart India Hackathon 2023 Software Edition for the Fourth Consecutive Year

Mahindra University has won the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2023 software edition for the fourth consecutive year, demonstrating the university’s exceptional commitment to fostering innovation and technological excellence among its students.

The winning team, comprising six brilliant students – Swarnim, Sayarnil, Ashwin, Kanishk, Deepesh, and Tanasi – under the mentorship of Dr. Bharghava Rajaram, Dr. Bhanukiran, and Dr. Gourav Saha, showcased outstanding skills and innovation in the SIH 2023 finals held on December 19-20 in Kohlapur. The team excelled in addressing the problem statement presented by DRDO, focusing on vibration analysis of mechanical structures using computer vision. With over 44,000 teams participating nationwide, Mahindra University’s triumph in the SIH 2023 reaffirms its position as a leading institution in nurturing and producing talented individuals in the field of technology and innovation.

Expressing immense pride, Dr. Yajulu Medury, Vice-Chancellor of Mahindra University said, “The consistent success of our students in the Smart India Hackathon is a testament to the culture of innovation and excellence.
