Ostara Advisors Appoints Arjun Sondhi as Senior Vice President
Ostara Advisors, a leading investment banking firm specialising in climate technology and sustainable solutions, announced the appointment of Arjun Sondhi as its Senior Vice President. In this role, Arjun will drive strategic initiatives in deal origination and execution, enhance valuation and research capabilities, and support Ostara’s clients in securing capital for growth.
He’ll use his expertise in business operations, building valuation models, and risk assessment to better understand emerging climate technologies and shape strong funding strategies. By offering an investor’s perspective, he’ll be able to guide founders to tell a compelling growth story and bridge the gap between bold ideas and the capital needed for large-scale impact.
Arjun brings more than 15 years of diverse experience across capital markets, corporate finance, and investment research. His background spans valuation, quantitative research, portfolio management, corporate turnaround, treasury, and investor relations. This broad expertise equips him to navigate climate tech investing as the sector shifts toward larger, impact-focused and scalable opportunities.
Vasudha Madhavan, Founder & CEO, Ostara Advisors, said, “Arjun’s extensive experience across capital markets and corporate transformation is a timely addition as climate tech investing moves from early-stage bets to large-scale, strategic growth. His perspective will deepen our ability to shape effective capital strategies and guide founders through complex scaling journeys. At Ostara, we’re dedicated to helping pioneering climate solutions secure the right funding—and Arjun’s leadership will help us do this with even greater focus and impact.”
Commenting on his appointment, Arjun Sondhi, said, “I’m thrilled to join Ostara Advisors at a moment when climate tech is gaining momentum. I will be working closely with Climate-tech founders to help them unlock strategic capital, build financial resilience, and translate transformative ideas into sustainable, large-scale impact.”
Arjun began his career in quantitative equity research at Lehman Brothers where he helped expand their sell-side coverage to the Russell 3000 index. He built forecasting and valuation models across sectors like automotive, retail, and healthcare, and worked closely with research and trading teams to deliver targeted sector insights. He was also part of Bloomberg’s founding team that built real-time valuation and credit models to help clients enhance investment decisions. At Mando Corporation, he focused on driving cost efficiencies and process improvements as Program Manager, before moving on to lead treasury operations and financial strategy through a critical phase of business recovery in Mando America.
