Mindmine Summit 2026 Brings Together India’s Top Leaders to Chart the Nation’s Next Growth Chapter
Hon’ble Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and leading industry voices drive discussions on India’s growth and innovation agenda
The 16th edition of the Mindmine Summit, Hero Enterprise’s flagship thought leadership platform, concluded today at Taj Palace, New Delhi, bringing together some of India’s foremost policymakers, industry leaders, economists, diplomats, investors, healthcare experts and public intellectuals for a day of dialogue and deliberation on the country’s evolving growth journey.
Held under the theme, ‘Uncertain Times, Confident Choices: India Recalibrates’, the Summit explored how India is navigating a rapidly changing global landscape while strengthening its economic foundations, institutions, innovation ecosystem and development priorities.
The Summit opened with a conversation featuring Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, Hon’ble Union Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, alongside Sunil Kant Munjal, Chairman, Hero Enterprise and Raamdeo Agarwal, Chairman, Motilal Oswal Securities.
In her interaction, Union Minister for Commerce & Industry Ms Nirmala Sitharaman said: “Strong domestic consumption provides resilience against global volatility, although dependence on imported raw materials and intermediates remains a key vulnerability.” She added that the government is actively creating frameworks to attract foreign capital through bond markets and overseas fundraising while reducing currency-risk concerns through policy support. She also stressed that economic competitiveness is no longer just a central government story; states are increasingly competing to attract GCCs, data centers, and technology investments.
Commenting on the success of the Summit, Sunil Kant Munjal, Chairman, Hero Enterprise, said, “The conversations at this year’s Mindmine Summit reflected both the scale of opportunity before India and the confidence with which the country is embracing change. Across sectors, there was a shared recognition that India’s next phase of growth will be shaped by innovation, strong institutions, entrepreneurial energy and collaborative leadership. Mindmine Summit continues to serve as a platform where diverse perspectives come together to exchange ideas, challenge assumptions and contribute to the nation’s progress.”
Discussions throughout the day examined key issues shaping India’s future, including geopolitical developments, investment trends, energy transitions, insurance penetration, healthcare innovation, institutional strengthening and the country’s long-term growth prospects.
The event featured distinguished speakers and panellists including Dr. Shamika Ravi, Member, Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister; Bansuri Swaraj, Member of Parliament; H.E. The 2026 edition continued that legacy by fostering meaningful conversations on the choices and opportunities that will shape India’s future.
