Marvell to Invest $250M in India, Double Workforce
A US-based semiconductor company, Marvell Technology, has announced plans to invest USD 250 million in India over the next three years. This will strengthen its research and development (R&D) capabilities and expand its engineering presence in the country.
The investment will support the company’s growing focus on developing semiconductor technologies for AI, cloud computing, and data infrastructure.
It will reinforce India’s role as a key innovation hub within Marvell’s global operations and semiconductor initiatives.
As part of the expansion, Marvell plans to double its workforce in India over the next three years. The company will also inaugurate a new wing at its Bengaluru office and expand its operations in Hyderabad to accommodate its growing engineering and R&D teams.
According to the company, India has become a strategic engineering center. Local teams contribute to the design and development of infrastructure technologies used by some of the world’s leading hyperscalers and cloud service providers.
