Thiruvananthapuram — Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of The Digital Science Park – a research facility for developing digital products and services in collaboration with academia — here. The park is aimed to support the development of Industry 4.0 technologies such as AI, Data Analytics, Cyber Security, and Smart Materials. It will offer common facilities to facilitate product development and high-end applied research by industries in association with universities. It is a third-generation Science Park with state-of-the-art infrastructure. The total estimated cost of the project is approximately Rs 1515 crore, with an initial investment of around Rs 200 crore for Phase-1.
