By Vivo launches T2 5G and T2x 5G
New Delhi — Vivo Tuesday launched its Vivo T2 series comprising the T2 5G and T2x 5G smartphones in India.
Vivo T2 5G comes in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB variants and is priced at Rs 18,999 and Rs 20,999 respectively. While, Vivo T2x comes in three variants, 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB, priced at Rs 12,999, Rs 13,999, and Rs 15,999, respectively.
Vivo T2 5G will be available for purchase from April 18 while sales of Vivo T2x 5G will start on April 21.
Vivo T2 5G sports a 6.38-inch FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED display that delivers 2400 × 1080 pixels resolution and 1300nits brightness. The front camera — 16 MP — is housed in a waterdrop notch.
The device is powered by the 6nm Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core 695 SoC. It runs on Funtouch OS — a custom skin based on Android 13 — and is secured by an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone is equipped with a dual-camera setup on the back — a 64MP primary sensor with OIS and EIS, and a 2MP bokeh secondary sensor.
Vivo T2 5G packs a 4500mAh battery and supports 44W fast charging. The company claims that the phone can reach up to 50 per cent charge in just 25 mins. It weighs 172gm and has a slim body measuring 158.91mm X 73.53mm X 7.80mm (l x w x h).
On the other hand, Vivo T2x 5G comes with a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display and offers a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2,400 pixels.
On the backside, it is equipped with a triple-camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel depth lens, and an LED flash. The phone sports an 8-megapixel selfie shooter in the front.
It is powered by Dimensity 6020 SoC running at a CPU clock speed of 2.2 GH and packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W charging. It weighs 184gm and features an ultra-slim 2.5D body measuring 164.05mm x 75.6mm x 8.15mm.
Vivo T2 5G comes in two colour options, Velocity Wave and Nitro Blaze while Vivo T2x 5G is available in three colour options, Marine Blue, Aurora Gold, and Glimmer Black.
Apart from that both smartphones offer similar features such as 3GB of extended RAM, microSD card support via a hybrid SIM slot, dual SIM, 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
