Mahindra University Announces Admissions for Postgraduate Programmes 2025-26

Mahindra University, a multidisciplinary educational institution, announces admissions for its postgraduate programmes for the academic year 2025-26. The offerings include M.Tech, MBA, MA (Education), LL.B. (Hons.)  as well as the newly launched M.Des & MJMC Programmes. With industry relevant curriculum, distinguished faculty with extensive experience in academia and industry along with international collaborations with leading institutions, the programmes aim to foster a dynamic learning ecosystem.

The School of Digital Media and Communication’s two-year Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication (MJMC) programme takes advantage of the school’s top-notch infrastructure, conventional and new technology, including AR/VR, AI, animation and VFX, and futuristic vision to build conceptual, technical and ethical competencies for careers in media management, strategic communication, advertising, PR, news, AI and data journalism, filmmaking, digital strategy, and content. The eligibility criteria to qualify for this programme are a bachelor’s degree in science, arts, commerce, engineering, or design. Applicants will be required to appear for an admission test followed by an interview. CUET (PG) and GRE (General) scores will be accepted in lieu of admission tests.

The School of Design Innovation’s two-year Master of Design (MDes) programme is for professionals with industry experience, focusing on real-world design challenges through AI, AR/VR, and industry collaboration. Students applying for this programme will require a relevant 4-year degree (Engineering, Architecture, Design, Interior Design, BFA, or equivalent) or a master’s degree in arts, Science, or Computer Applications with professional experience. Applicants will be required to appear for an admission test followed by an interview. CUET (PG) and CEED scores will be accepted in lieu of admission tests.

Applications are also invited from eligible graduates and graduating students for master’s degree programmes offered by the other schools in the university, including École Centrale School of Engineering, Indira Mahindra School of Education, School of Law, and School of Management.

The interdisciplinary MTech programme at École Centrale School of Engineering is offering specialisations including Computer-Aided Structural Engineering (CASE), Transportation Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI & DS), Autonomous Electric Vehicles (AEV’s), VLSI Design & Embedded Systems, Robotics, Smart Grids and Energy Storage Technology, Systems Engineering, Robotics, Computational Mechanics (COM), Bio-Medical Data Sciences (BMDS) and the newly launched Advanced Wireless Communication ( AWC).

The School of Education is accepting applications for its two-year full-time Master of Arts (MA) in Education. The programme is open to graduates with a minimum of 55% marks in any discipline, B.Ed or B.El.Ed holders, or those with valid NET or CUCET (PG) scores or clear university’s entrance test/interview.

The three-year LLB (Hons.) programme at the School of Law is open to graduates from any discipline with a full-time degree from a recognised university with a minimum 60% aggregate. Admission requires a valid CLAT (PG) 2025 or LSAT (PG) score or clear University’s entrance test/interview.

The School of Management’s MBA programme prepares students for the evolving business landscape. Admission is open to graduates from any discipline and requires a valid GMAT, CAT, GRE, or MUMET score followed by personal interview/group discussion. The programme offers specialisations in Business Analytics, Finance, and Digital Business.

Basis excellent performance in the PG Admission Test and subsequent Interview conducted by MU, the University PG Admissions Committee may recommend award of few PG Teaching Assistantships for select candidates. (not applicable to LL.B. (Hons.) programme).

The PG Teaching Assistantship offers either a stipend of Rs 18,000 per month, (or) free boarding and lodging on campus, (or) both, depending on the candidate’s profile, academic performance, and selection process outcome.
