WhatsApp’s New Text Editor: Custom Fonts and Enhanced Formatting for Android Beta Testers
New Delhi — WhatsApp, the messaging platform owned by Meta, has rolled out an innovative new text editor experience for select beta testers on Android. The updated text editor enables users to edit photos, videos, and GIFs.
According to a report published in WABetaInfo, beta testers can now easily switch between fonts simply by tapping on one of the font options displayed above the keyboard. Additionally, they can now change the text alignment to the left, centre, or right, giving them greater control over the formatting of text within images, videos, and GIFs.
Beta users can also customize the text background colour to highlight important text from the rest. The update has also rolled out new fonts including Calistoga, Courier Prime, Damion, Exo 2, and Morning Breeze.
WhatsApp’s latest update promises to enhance the user experience, giving users more control over the text editing process and facilitating better communication with loved ones.
