Gp. Capt. Shubhanshu Shukla, Indian Astronaut; Gp. Capt. PB Nair, Gp. Capt. Angad Pratap (Astronaut Designate, ISRO) and industry leaders to participate in premier Space Industry event
Indian Space Association (ISpA), the premier industry association of space and satellite companies in India, in collaboration with ISRO and IN-SPACe, announced the 4th edition of the India International Space Conclave (IISC) 2025 set to take place on November 18th and 19th in New Delhi. This premier Space Industry event will bring together senior Government officials, global and Indian leaders from industries, agencies, and many innovators and policymakers to discuss and deliberate under this year’s theme “Expanding Horizons: Innovation, Inclusion & Resilience in the New Space Age“.
As India aims to increase its global market share to 8% by 2033, with the economy projected to grow fivefold to $44 billion and Gaganyaan mission in a few years, the conclave will be graced by the presence of Gp Capt Shubhanshu Shukla, Indian Astronaut, Gp. Capt. PB Nair, Gp. Capt. Angad Pratap (Astronaut Designate, ISRO) as well. The conclave will witness various MoU exchanges in the presence of delegates from many countries, including France, Australia and a special delegation from Japan.
The conclave aims to create a definitive roadmap for the Indian space sector by fostering international partnerships, promoting private industry growth and aligning stakeholders with India’s ambitious space vision, including the goal of sending an Indian to the Moon by 2040 and establishing a space station by 2035.
The inaugural session on Day 1 will be led by Chief Guest Shri Jitendra Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State (IC) for Science & Technology and Space alongside other distinguished leaders including Dr. Pawan Goenka, Chairman of IN-SPACe; Mr. Takashi Ariyoshi, Minister & Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of Japan to India; H.E. Antonio Bartoli, The Ambassador of Italy to India; Air Chief Marshal V.R. Chaudhari (Retd.), former Chief of the Indian Air Force, setting a powerful agenda for the proceedings.
The Day 2 inaugural session will be led by Chief Guest Smt Meenakshi Lekhi, Former Minister of State for External Affairs & Culture of India along with Shri AS Kiran Kumar, Member, Space Commission, Former Chairman, ISRO; Air Chief Marshal RKS Bhadauria (Retd), Former Chief of the Air Staff, IAF, Shri M Ganesh Pillai, Scientific Secretary, ISRO, Shri Rahul Vatts, CRO, Bharti Airtel and Vice Chairman, ISpA.
Also, Naoko Yamazaki, Former JAXA Astronaut, Rep. Director, Space Port Japan Association President, Young Astronaut Club – Japan Chair, Space Utilization and Development Subcommittee at Ministry of Science and Technology and others, will join in a special session on the ‘Future of Space Exploration’.
In this year’s conclave, a significant highlight is the Japan delegation alongwith the India-Japan Space partnership session, which will examine global trends, the rise of new players and the vital role of international partnerships in expanding the space sector. The event will also feature high-level participation from the European Space Agency (ESA), Italian Space Agency, and government and industry leaders, reflecting a strong focus on building alliances with both established space powers and emerging partners.
The conclave’s agenda is designed to produce actionable outcomes featuring eleven focused sessions, with over 100+ delegates and 600+ attendees expected over the two-day forum. Some of the key sessions will focus on:
· Geospatial and SatCom Policy: High-level discussions will address the commercialization of geospatial data and navigate spectrum challenges for LEO satellite services, aiming to influence policy frameworks.
· Sustainable Space Operations: A critical dialogue on space debris management and in-orbit servicing, featuring experts from the UK Space Agency and academia.

The event will also see the release of many strategic joint publications, including a paper on AgriStack solutions with SatSure, and facilitate crucial B2B engagements to drive business growth across the space value chain.
